Should You Sweat The Small Stuff?

Yes....In business. Sweating the small stuff in business stands you a part from your competition. It says to you customers you will go the extra mile to make them feel special. Remember not many people have unique businesses so sweating the small stuff really does matter. In France its standard practice to get a nice fresh continuous supply of bread at your table throughout any meal and in the US the coffee cup and soda is always refilled for free. How do you remember your meals in these places? So sweating the small stuff in business? When it comes to your customers...always.

BUT....and it’s a big but (hee hee, I know what you are thinking!)

In life say NO to sweating the small stuff!
You see filling your head with all the little niggly things that life throws your way. Fills you with negativity, guilt, worry, and fear. Which cause procrastination, more guilt and stops you from taking action.

If you are not able to find the time to dust that cobweb under the radiator that you spot as you walk down the stairs. Don’t sweat it. You are not ever in a million squillion years going to lie on your death bed and say “Tell my kids, I wish.....I’d.....dusted that radiator more often!”

Concentrating on the little stuff will wear away your positivity and your motivation. So don’t sweat the small stuff. If you are not sure if you do this, ask yourself this...

When I get into bed tonight would I rather have done the small stuff that gets me down and puts me in a bad mood, or would I rather have gone for a walk arm in arm with my hubby/wife/daughter/son. Would I rather have had a luxurious long bath with my favourite music in the background or would I rather have done that job?

You know it’s the small stuff because you could say to yourself. “In 5 or 10 years time, would this small stuff matter to me?” And the answer is invariably....no!

So...fill your life with things that make you happy. Little things that make you smile. And seriously don’t sweat the small stuff; it will wreak havoc with your happy life!

I take My own Advice!
My Sister dropped the huge Strawberry Cream Gateau we had for Hubby's 40th Birthday. She was covered in Cream and half the cake was on the patio. Did I care? Not in the slightest! Why? Because all 38 guests got a big laugh. Sis got more cake than she should have had (admittedly that had to be licked off of her fingers) and the party was just too much fun for one second of negativity to be invited in!
